FLOSS Manuals have been refining the process of writing a full manual in one week. Adam Hyde will talk about what a Book Sprint is and showcase some successful results.
Adam Hyde is a recently retired Digital Artist from New Zealand. As a artist Adam traveled the world making a living teaching free software on every continent including Antarctica. He has also collaborated with NASA in his projects, worked with ex-soviet radio telescopes, and delivered innovative digital art projects based on free software and free communications. For example:
www.wifio.net, www.papercuptelephone.org, www.radioqualia.net/freeradiolinux, www.mobicast.org
Adam has recently left all that behind to found and lead FLOSS Manuals. A not-for-profit foundation whose aim is to create quality free documentation about free software.
