Nathan Clapton
Senior Director, Partnerships, TripAdvisor

Website

Nathan was appointed Senior Director of Partnerships for TripAdvisor in February 2007. Since then, he has been working on how best to allow online bookers to benefit from TripAdvisor’s wealth of information anywhere they choose to book. Thousands of travel businesses from bed and breakfasts to major online travel agents and media companies have all taken advantage of this and added TripAdvisor Traveler Reviews and Ratings to their websites.

Prior to working for TripAdvisor, Nathan was Commercial Director for Lonely Planet heading up their European Licensing businesses. In this role, he initiated Lonely Planet’s publishing in German and their first mobile travel guides with Nokia and Sony PSP. Prior to Lonely Planet, Nathan worked for the BBC and the Guardian in a variety of commercial roles.
