Phil is the founder and president of Applewood Books, publishers of America’s living past. Since its founding, the company has published over 3,000 books and sold over 20 million copies of works of interest to a broad range of people. Since 2005, Applewood has been distributed by Ingram Publisher Services. The company recently launched Foodsville.com, an innovative historic cookbook social networking site integrating digital and print-to-order distribution in a long-tail and traditional publishing/bookselling mashup.
