We're looking forward to another great TOC Conference. For three days, you'll get the inside scoop on what's working (and what's not), what's coming next, how technology is creating both challenges and opportunities in all aspects of the publishing industry—and how you can make these challenges and opportunities work for you. Below is information to help you get the most out of your time at TOC.
New York Marriott Marquis Times Square
1535 Broadway
New York, New York 10036 USA
1 (800) 843-4898
Stop by TOC Registration to pick up your badge, event guide, and other materials. Registration is located on the 6th floor of the Marriott Marquis at the Registration Counter. We're expecting a full house again this year, so if you can, please come a little early to check in.
If this will be your first TOC Conference, we have a few ways to help you get the most out of your time at TOC.
Create your own TOC agenda using the personal scheduler function on the TOC website. Mark the sessions, workshops, keynotes, and events you want to attend by clicking the calendar icon next to each listing. Then click on "Personal Schedule" link in the Schedule View page to generate your own customized schedule.
Printed versions of the daily schedule will also be available throughout the conference area.
Wireless connectivity to the Internet will be available throughout the conference areas on the fourth and sixth floors of the Marriott Marquis. Internet access in your hotel room is available through the hotel for an additional fee.
Would you like to connect with other conference participants before, during and after the event? Join the online Attendee Directory, which allows you to have a public profile, communicate with other attendees, and manage your contacts. You will need to make sure you are opted-in to the Attendee Directory in order to begin using it.
Once you start participating you'll be able to:
Rate the sessions, workshops, and keynotes you attend on toccon.com by going to any session description page and clicking on the set of stars in the upper right hand corner. You can also leave comments at the bottom of the description page. Please keep in mind that your comments will be public. Only registered attendees may rate sessions, so if you aren't already logged in, you'll be asked to do so. Your username/email and password are the same ones you used to register for TOC.
After the conference, presentation files will be available for download and select video will be available for viewing. Look for the links on the TOC homepage.
Make sure you are following us on Twitter (@toc) to get the most up-to-the-minute information while at TOC. If you are tweeting during the conference, please use #TOCCON when mentioning the conference.
If you are posting blogs, photos, or tweeting while you're at TOC, tag them with “TOCCON”. If you're tweeting, don't forget the hashtags.
Make sure to visit the sponsors and exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall, located in the 6th floor foyer and in the adjoining Majestic Complex.
