Our session will focus on answering ‘What it takes for a publisher to transition from a B2B business model to a B2C business model’.

We will look at this transition by looking at 5 areas that publishers will need to address, which will include:

  1. Software & Hardware Platform Infrastructure
  2. Cloud Computing – Books on the Cloud
  3. Multi Device Availability
  4. Customer Management and Customer Marketing
  5. Discoverability & Viral Marketing

Our expertise stems from our experience of building and transforming B2C business models for hundreds of traditional publishers from different verticals such as University presses, Children’s publishers or STM publishers. We will discuss the importance of each of these components for a successful B2C digital presence for publishers, how to get these components in place, and finally how to execute on them for digital publishing success.
