Penny Sullivan is VP of Editorial Operations and Technology for Meredith Corporation, a leading media and marketing company serving American women with brands including Better Homes and Gardens, Parents, Ladies’ Home Journal, Family Circle, Fitness and More. She is responsible for editorial and publishing technology strategy and operations, including process design and technology which enable effective cross platform workflows. Penny is active in the industry and has been a member of the IDEAlliance eMedia 21 committee, whose mission is to build convergence between the print and digital sides of the magazine publishing process, and establish best practices for optimizing the creation, sharing and reuse of digital content. In addition, she was on the planning committee for the 2010 XML Conference, Co-Chaired the 2010 Premedia Spectrum 2.0 Conference and is Chairing the 2011 Premedia Spectrum 2.1 conference. Prior to joining Meredith in 2005, she was with RR Donnelley for 20 years, holding various operations roles.
