Jeremy Bornstein

Jeremy Bornstein
President, CTO, Subutai Corporation

Website

Jeremy founded Subutai Corporation with authors Neal Stephenson and Greg Bear in order to exploit the hell out of the transition to socially-enabled transmedia entertainment in a world where traditional publishing models are faltering.

Prior to Subutai, Jeremy served as founder or in executive capacities at: Smith & Tinker (connected toys), Atom Entertainment (casual games & films), Perpetual Entertainment (MMO infrastructure), and Xigo (real-time information extraction). Before that, he was a senior scientist at Apple where he was responsible for seminal research in the fields of collaborative filtering and information retrieval.

Jeremy holds nine patents and a second degree black belt in aikido. He graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science. His favorite weapon is the longsword, but he also enjoys training with the poleaxe when the chandeliers are moved out of the way or have already been broken.
