Victor is the author of the forthcoming book, Why We Fail: Real Stories and Practical Lessons from Experience Design Failures and is head of operations at Jesta Labs, a tech incubator in New York City.

His early career was spent building IT systems until he transitioned to user interface design, contributing to over 40 software and Internet products. Victor earned a bachelors degree in journalism from Rutgers University and a masters degree in music from New York University. With a love for bringing curious people together, he cofounded and served as president of the Information Architecture Institute and co-founded the Overlap business & design annual unconference. He has taught at both the Parsons School of Design and the Pratt Institute, two leading design schools in the United States.
