Martin Klopstock has worked in Professional and Higher Ed publishing for 25 years with a range of publishers including Taylor & Francis and Pearson Education. He is currently Digital and Operations Director at Kogan Page, an independent business publisher. He has held senior management roles in the areas of product development and production; content management; workflow and asset standards. More recently he has been focused on the seamless integration of internal business systems with the data and asset requirement of third party supply chain partners. He believes that developing and maintaining rigorous asset and metadata standards is essential to a smooth functioning of an increasingly global supply chain, and that the publishing industry needs to invest in automation of these processes and workflows.
