With over 88% of global users engaging in some form of mobile commerce/mobile consumption, companies need to oevrcome the barriers that are preventing their business from thriving in the mobile environment. From consumer trust issues to security issues, consumer consumption of mobile content/commerce is rapidly growing and companies need to know the best practices and strategies for growing their mobile business.

From a global perspective, this session discusses the three main categories of how consumers are currently utilizing their mobile devices and how companies can maximize their revenues within these categories:

  • Purchase – digital or physical goods
  • Research – using the phone to support product/purchase research
  • Banking – transaction or accessing bank accounts

For over 15 years, Ms. DeHey has held high-level positions in marketing, business development and corporate strategy for a number of small and large firms, including MEF (formerly the Mobile Entertainment Forum), MediaMojos, the Irish government, LexisNexis and MGM Studios. Ms. DeHey was recently named one of “The 25 Women to Watch in 2012” by Mobile Marketer Magazine (http://www.mobilemarketer.com/cms/lib/13484.pdf). She currently serves as the General Manager for MEF and as a Managing Partner for MediaMojos, an entertainment and digital media consulting firm.

As the GM of MEF North America, Ms. DeHey is responsible for growing the MEF organization and engaging top brands, operators, studios and OEMs, such as Turner Broadcasting, Coca-Cola, Sony, Sprint and Samsung, in creating new standards for the mobile industry. At MediaMojos, she worked with top brands including AT&T, Verizon and MTV and was responsible for rebranding and launching America One’s “One World Sports” onto the top U.S. carriers and generating over 3.5M in views since its launch. Prior, she was the CEO for Mediavix, a social media analytics company whose clients included Innovation Solutions (the creators of the “Reebok Step”) and Johnson & Johnson.

Throughout her career, Ms. DeHey’s clients and strategic partners have included: MGM Studios, Universal, Disney, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Amgen, America One, Starz, MGM/Mirage, Hilton Hotels, MTV, Park Place Entertainment, Harrah’s and many other Fortune 500 companies. She has lectured at UCLA, USC and Madonna University and has been quoted as an industry expert by MSNBC. Ms. DeHey has an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business, a J.D. from California Western and a B.A. from Cornell University. She has spoken nationally and internationally on branding, strategic acquisitions and emerging new media technologies and currently serves on several Boards including the Irish Technology Leadership Group, Digital Hollywood and the Irish-American Bar Association.
