Libby Johnson McKee is the North America Director for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and CreateSpace, Amazon’s independent publishing platforms. She is responsible for the author and publisher experience, as well as innovations to help them reach more readers and create high-quality books.

Johnson McKee’s work in publishing started at Amazon.com in 1997 when she managed publisher relations and then aspects of the book business including merchandising, editorial and buying. She continued as General Manager of CreateSpace’s print on demand publishing platform into her current position where she helps independent authors reach their publishing goals, with many breaking into the best seller lists.
